Global Tag or Playlist Based Filtering.

Feature description:

An option, possibly even in presets based on tags, and/or playlist that would show only the qualified items in the app.

Problem solved:

This could help with the issue some people have of christmas music in the wrong time of year, while not needlessly fracturing libraries (especially in the case of Christmas music in Non-Christmas albums, such as show albums.)

It would also be useful for daily use, such as if you want only lyrical, or non-lyrical.
Even we could use for things like the Explicit Filter for keeping Clean Only music.

Brought benefits:

Day to Day control and convinence, Adding to the control benefits from the Offline Filtering, with more options.

Other application solutions:

I have not seen it on any other software, though I haven’t checked much. It could however, function like an extension on the pre-existing filter system for offline-availible music, or unavailable.

Use smart filters that are there for that ?

There is that option for when looking in a direct menu.

What I was meaning was more similar to how with source filter you are able to hide albums that are not available offline, or are currently unavailable.

I really like that feature, and how it lets me actually browse offline unlike how it previously was for me on plexamp.

If we can filter like this, then I would also be able to filter, and not worry about it in the wonderful mix features we have right on the home menu, so I would be able to easily put the mix without my extreme amount of Christmas music, or instrumental only albums for when I’m In the car with people who have regular taste on the aux.

Plus it would let me Globally just hide some of the music that I have on the server for other people, but I have no interest in.

Sorry if I’m talking in circles a bit.

This is a duplicate anyway, this is not really possible to have global filters that applies to all.

You can use smart filters and quickly toggle them and press the mix button that will do exactly what you want.
