Let me start by saying this is a beautiful app and I am really enjoying it. I am writing to report an issue I noticed with how folder playback is ordered when using Symfonium with a Subsonic/Gonic server.
My music files are organized in album folders, and each track has a proper numeric filename prefix (e.g., “01 - Track.flac”, “02 - Track.flac”, etc.). Other Subsonic clients such as Ultrasonic display and play these folders in the correct track order.
In Symfonium, however, the same folders are always sorted alphabetically by track title rather than by filename or track number. This happens even though the filenames clearly begin with the correct numeric prefixes.
As a result, folder playback ends up in alphabetical order instead of the intended track sequence.
Since folder playback is an important part of my workflow, I wanted to ask if there is a setting in Symfonium to sort folder contents by filename or track number, similar to how some other Subsonic clients handle this.
Please let me know if this is something that could be supported or if there are any workarounds you would recommend.
