Fixes not working - Error 404 when trying to authenticate to a cloud provider

Issue description

I have just downloaded the app and tried connecting it to OneDrive but got a 404 error. I followed the fix instructions, open by default was already selected and the link verified. My OneDrive is version 7.53.2 and Edge is my default browser - I don’t use Firefox. When I click ‘sign in’ it goes straight to error messages, doesn’t appear to trying to connect to the authenticator.
Pretty unimpressed with this app experience so far

Asks me to sign in to OneDrive
404 error messages appears immediately

Additional information

I can’t create a log because I can’t get logged in past the initial app set up. If I can’t even get this app set up, it’s a definite 1 star review

As the 404 page explains I have 0 control about your phone and your browser …

Have you applied the solution from Error 404 when trying to authenticate to a cloud provider ? Have you tried with another browser ?

  • Android settings → Apps → Edge → clear defaults/site permissions if they previously chose “Stay in Edge.”
  • In Edge, if the prompt appears, choose Open external app, not Stay in Microsoft Edge.
