Feature Request: Custom colors for Surface backgrounds and Support for Gradients/Images

Hi Tolriq,

I am currently building a custom theme for Symfonium using the Material Theme Builder. I would love to suggest a few improvements regarding interface customization:

  1. Custom Surface/Background Colors: Currently, the system restricts us to standard light or dark neutral backgrounds. I would love the ability to force a specific custom color for the Surface role in both light and dark modes independently (for example, setting a pastel light blue background instead of just white/grey).
  2. Gradients and Image Backgrounds: It would be amazing if Symfonium could support linear gradients or custom images as full-screen backgrounds for the player and menus. This would take app customization to a completely new level!

Can I ask you to clarify this part?

Symfonium already allows you to set whichever color you like as the Surface color for both Light and Dark modes.

Or are you referring to some limitation of the Material Theme Builder? Afaik it’s an independent tool, not related to this app.
