I haven’t done anything with it, I haven’t tagged all of my music yet to make it automatical, genres, moods, so I’m just doing it manually. I created the normal playlist (Night Mix Data), added some calmer songs, then created the smart playlist and made it to show only the songs from that normal playlist I’ve created
Then I also added a Last Played - “over 7” to make it show new songs each day. It also works the same, once you’ve listened to all of the songs it would disappear from the playlist and then from the home page.
Hey, I’d love to see how it works out for you, could you show me some screenshots of your version of the theme If you’re changing something? I’m just curious, haha, and thank you for your comment.
Ahh, I am an idiot. I thought they were native sections from Symfonium. I didn’t realize they were your own smart playlists So I thought the app just auto-generated a few daily mixes for you like Spotify or Tidal does.
So the problem is that I use your theme, but I do not have my own playlist called “Daily Mix #1”, so nothing shows up.
Seems pretty difficult to make good smart playlist filters, especially as I have not begun rating my tracks with stars.
So your night mix is basically a filter on a normal playlist, so you can listen to the songs that haven’t been played in a while?
Lots of stuff to play around with, thanks for the detailed reply and the theme!
“So your night mix is basically a filter on a normal playlist, so you can listen to the songs that haven’t been played in a while?”
- yep, basically. A normal playlist, with manually added songs and then added to the smart playlist, because smart playlists can have different rules, so I can put “Last Played” rule, so it would make a cycle, a song from a weak ago would appear today, the another one tomorrow. Honestly that’s, how you can do it if you also don’t have enough data yet, just create them manually, add different songs, then create a smart playlist with those normal playlists, add it to the home page and it would work.
Also, honestly, I’m curious, so if you’re changing something with this theme I’d love to see it, maybe I’d give me some ideas, you know.
