Feature description:
Hi Symfonium developer
I’ve been using Symfonium to listen to audiobooks daily .
It is the best music player I’ve ever used. However, there is some annoyance when playing audiobook collections. many audiobook episodes include repetitive intro and outro segments — often 30 to 60 seconds long — with promotional content, theme music, or episode summaries that are not part of the actual story.
The current “Skip Silence” feature doesn’t help here, because these segments contain audible content. This forces me to manually skip forward every time, which breaks immersion and wastes time.
I kindly request a new feature:
**“Custom Chapter Skip”** — allowing users to set specific start and end skip durations (in seconds) for individual audiobook albums or playlists.
For example:
- Skip first 45 seconds of every episode in “The Hobbit”
- Skip last 30 seconds of every episode in “Sherlock Holmes”
Thank you for your continued work on Symfonium.
Brought benefits:
This would be a game-changer for audiobook listeners. Many users likely face the same issue — and this small addition would dramatically improve daily usability.
