No idea what you want but Symfonium is not a remote control.

Can we cast from Symfonium to Foobar?

If have a working upnp renderer plugin.

There is a native UPnP renderer in development but it’s a little unstable at present: https://hydrogenaudio.org/index.php/topic,127849.msg1081539.html#msg1081539

If you wanted to try it I’d use foobar2000-x64_v2.26_preview_2026-04-30 and disable gapless playback in the renderer settings (in Symfonium).

Enabling gapless playback causes tracks to repeat, though I’ve just noticed the same when playing to TuneBrowser so it could be a Symfonium issue.

Thank you, very much. This really helps. Symfonium is able to see FB2k as one of upnp and able stream the music on server.

Next item, is there a way to play them as bit-perfect on FB2K. I also have small set of dsd & iso file and that to be handled. With this setup I see them treated as pcm.

I don’t know much about DSD, but if foobar intends to support it over UPnP then it’ll have to advertise the capability.

foobar currently advertises support for:
http-get:*:audio/flac:*,http-get:*:audio/L16:*,http-get:*:audio/x-wav:*,http-get:*:audio/ogg:*,http-get:*:audio/x-ogg-flac:*,http-get:*:audio/mpeg:*

I don’t know if there are official mime types for dff/dsf/dsd, but going by this post it looks like Symfonium expects:
http-get:*:audio/dsd:*, http-get:*:audio/x-dsd:*
