Feature description:
‘format.channels’ would indicate the number of channels in a track. This would integrate in the ‘format.’ field type
Problem solved:
As of now, the only way to detect if a track has more than one channel is to guess that every track that’s in a EAC3 container is Dolby Atmos. This would be a more robust approach to this problem.
Brought benefits:
It would allow everyone to detect tracks in a more robust way.
