Feature description:
Hello symphonium Team,
Currently, when a song is removed from the device, the music library still shows a non-playable placeholder (ghost entry), which requires manual syncing or refreshing to clear.
Proposed Improvement:
When a file is deleted from storage, the app should automatically remove its entry from the library.
This would prevent ghost files from appearing and eliminate the need for manual syncing.
As a result, the library would always reflect only the available playable files.
Problem solved:
Ghost files clutter the music library with entries that don’t actually play. This confuses users, makes the library look messy, and forces them to manually sync or refresh to fix it. By automatically removing deleted songs from the library, users always see an accurate list of playable tracks, saving time and frustration.
Brought benefits:
This small improvement would streamline the user experience, keep the library clean, and save users the extra step of syncing.
Thank you for considering this request!
Other application solutions:
When a track is unavailable or removed, it either disappears from the library instantly or is grayed out with a clear “unavailable” tag, never leaving a ghost placeholder.
