Feature description
A config setting, or button on the lyrics UI to toggle auto-scrolling of plain lyrics.
When enabled, the lyrics would scroll automatically throughout the duration of the track. The scroll speed would be derived from the length of the lyrics text, and the length of the track, such that the final lyrics line would be showing around ten seconds or so before the track finishes.
User override of the scroll position should be allowed. If the user scrolls manually, simply keep scrolling from the new position at the same speed.
Problem solved
Plain lyrics inherently don’t carry time information. The user has to scroll manually to keep up with the lyrics in the song.
Brought benefits
Well, personally, I would be able to sing along to songs I don’t know the lyrics to while I’m in the shower, which is what made me think of making this request in the first place.
