so the app after maybe 3 to 5 days using it just forgets certain settings/customizations I’ve implemented maybe like if i decided to change the album page from seeing composers to artist it reverts back to composers like it originally came or something along those lines..

The logs does not contains any preferences issues and your description is not very precise …

if i decided to change the album page from seeing composers to artist it reverts back to composers like it originally came or something along those lines..

Explain this for example as it sounds more like a misunderstanding of how things works.

Let’s say i insterted a certain theme in my case “floating carousel” after i change some of the things in the theme after a while it forgets some of the things to fit the original floating carousel and it changes little things and not my whole chnages

That’s not really possible. You’ll need to provide logs containing one of those changes and actual detail about what changed.

changed the format to json you’ll revert it back to .log

There’s a proper way to upload logs … And as said I need logs containing an actual setting revert and the details about what was reverted…

The uploaded archive contains only July 8 logs and does not contain the July 10 recurrence. Do you use “Change profile,” reselect the application style, or apply one through the remote API? Application profiles
intentionally reapply their saved application style, and manual changes are not written back into that style. Save the customized application style, then recreate/update the profile to reference it. If you never apply a
profile or style, enable debug logging and leave it enabled until the issue occurs, then upload immediately and list the exact before/after setting.

And you again do not tell what you actually are doing to repro and what settings are supposedly reverted …

uhm there’s actually so many of them

•Album Changes

  1. Switched off the “About” section
  2. Switched of “Show Compeset in track lost” and Switched to “Always Show Artis Name in Track list”
  3. Hidden Buttons - i hid 4 of them and left 2

•Artist Page

  1. Hidden buttons - i hid 4 of them and left 2
  2. Show about section turned off
  3. Visible about rows i only left the biography

•Playback

  1. Retain Player State was on
  2. Preserve play next order was on
  3. Retain Player State was o

•Advanced Settings

  1. Disable Media Restoration was On

there’s probably a little more of im forgetting but the main ones i notice quickly are the one’s mentioned above

That’s actually not possible to have anything changing the playback settings.

The logs does not show any settings issues.

Do you change application profiles or things like that ? Do you restore your settings ? Use the API from another app ?

Honestly I do not understand how it’s possible except something changing files outside of the app.

You can backup your settings once done and restore then quickly to workaround this. I seriously have no idea.

okay.. this is kinda sad for me so how do you suggest i move forward??

Make a full backup and save it somewhere then start fresh with a proper install from Play Store.
