I have three albums that are called “Greatest Hits” by three different artists that are being grouped together as one album. In reading through the forums I thought it might be an issue with the tags (I’ve read that the ARTISTS tag can cause some issues, so I deleted that tag) but despite my efforts to fix the tags, delete the files from Google Drive, and upload them again, the issue still persists.
Your logs are empty, I need logs during a sync to see your actual data and details about your file organisation and tags and Symfonium settings since you have full control about how albums are split.
Sorry for wasting your time - I found the setting to split these albums out properly (Manage Media Providers → Google Drive → Split albums by: Album artist). Prior to that I had none of the options chosen, which is why they were grouped together.
I believe that when I was first configuring it for Google Drive and I was seeing multiple instances of album art (for albums with multiple discs) that I went in there and unchecked everything in an effort to “merge” the albums, and then I subsequently forgot about those settings. Again - apologies for wasting your time with something I should have been able to figure out.
