Please look after the issue as I have attached the screenshot, log and the file link to it. I will be buying the app as the app and the community is just amazing.

The file seems corrupted I’ve found https://blog.hanlin.press/2025/09/ALAC-Verification-Guide/ that seems to confirm an issue with stuff downloaded from Apple Music.

I’m not sure I can workaround that without risk of high volume or bad data causing more problems than solutions.

Hi! That you for the research. I understand the issue but the stuff plays without any issue on my mac as well as mxplayer on android too.

I have had no issues with MX Player regarding this specific song. I am too confused about what is this issue.. I hope there is a fix to this.

The file is corrupted, some apps are more lenient and accept to possible destroy your ears with bad data that could generate very loud sound. Symfonium does that a lot less to avoid this kind of risks.

So Sir! What do you recommend ? For me. I am so close buying this app but this specific thing is stopping me.

Please give me a work around  Thanks!

The link I gave you give some, you can reencode the file with tools that accept invalid data to remove the invalid data.

It will be very helpful if you could provide me a few of those tools or just one working tool.. Thanks in advance

Audacity ( Audacity ® | Downloads ) can open the linked file, and you’d then be able to re-save it correctly.

But, if I were you, I’d take a look at the bash script on the page Tolriq linked to and run that to see how many files are affected first

Hi! could you please help me do that ? a social link of yours can help me a lot. I am on telegram and email.

Also I tried doing the same as you said. The project is saving as an aup3 and if I try to export the audio into something else like m4a but it’s saving at 320kbps max.

Sorry man, I’ve never used a Mac so I’d have to be guessing a lot!

What I can tell you is that you’re on the right lines with choosing Export to… (Saving the file in Audacity will just create an Audacity project, which isn’t what you want) but it looks like you need to install FFMPEG before you can export directly to ALAC.

Do a search for “audacity export to ALAC” and you should find something helpful
