Adding a full parametric EQ with Opra headphone profile support

Feature description:

Opra is an open, community-maintained directory of EQ compensation curves that optimise a wide range of headphone models. Integrating opra headphone profiles would allow users to very quickly EQ their specific headphones within the app without having to figure out the measurements themselves.

Problem solved:

I currently can’t fully EQ my headphones to the same extent as in other music apps. Unfortunately I don’t really enjoy my headphones as much without the compensation curve and opra profiles enabled which for me makes Symfonium a no go at the moment. I do think this app is generally brilliant though so will consider a purchase as a backup player for now but would like to maybe make it my daily driver.

Brought benefits:

This feature immediately offers better audio to any user no matter what hardware they’re using.

Professional EQ profiles are one click away, removes any of the guesswork

Other application solutions:

Roon arc which is made by the company that created the opra directory initially has implemented this integration. Within the EQ section users can just click through their brand of headphone and model to then retrieve a list of relevant profiles

Screenshots / Mockup:

99% of the EQs are from AutoEQ that is fully supported already and native, just select your headphone in the list.

Symfonium EQ is not parametric anyway.

Hello, I use squig:

You can create a parametric equalizer, then export it: Export Graphic EQ (Wavelet), and finally import it into Symfonium.
