# Add support for Filen cloud storage

# Feature description:

Currently there is support for pcloud cloud storage, however I use Filen for secure cloud storage. I’m not sure if many others use Filen however I’d prefer not to have to pay for another cloud storage provider, as my music is stored in Filen. They offer large amounts of storage for sensible money.

### Problem solved:

Allows access to a secure cloud storage provider for music playback. Pcloud is good but Filen is becoming more well known.

### Brought benefits:

Allows to keep my music in a secure cloud storage provider with good prices per storage amount.

Sorry but they do not even offer an official API.

Hi @Tolriq,

Just reviving the thread in case it’s possible to keep this Host in the radar for a near future implementation, since it would be amazing to integrate an option with a privacy ethos in mind.

There’s an API V3 already in place: [Introduction | Filen Docs](https://docs.filen.io/docs/api/specs/)

And soon they will also release an updated V4, as stated on Aug: [Status Update - August 2025](https://filen.io/hub/status-update-august-2025/)

I understand if this is not a highly requested feature. ☹
