# Add discsubtitle to string options

# Feature description:

I’d love if it was possible to add discsubtitle to the string options for the now playing screen.

### Problem solved:

It would add more details for any song from a boxset, to know which album from that set is playing.

### Brought benefits:

More clarification for the songs you play.

@Tolriq since it says implemented:  
Which specific tag(s) is/are supported now?

Some people use `SUBTITLE`, others `DISCSUBTITLE` and for live recordings I’ve also often seen `SETSUBTITLE`.

I have a small nitpick. It seems like only one `SETSUBTITLE` is picked up for the same `ALBUM` + `DISCNUMBER`.

The below album as shown in MusicBee

seems to be grouped as “Act II: Charlatans and Saints” in Symfonium. I only have tracks from Act I to Act III in Symfonium.

This is also why I use `SETSUBTITLE` instead of `DISCSUBTITLE`.

Fwiiw: I use the below virtual tag in MusicBee for sub-headers:

```auto
$If(<Disc Count>>1,$IsNull(<Set Subtitle>,"• Disc "<Disc#>" •","• Disc "<Disc#>" • "<Set Subtitle>" •"),$IsNull(<Set Subtitle>,,"• "<Set Subtitle>" •"))

```

I switched `set subtitle` to `grouping` as that one seems to more fit the definition of a subset of tracks.
