Feature description:
Currently playlists can be tagged, and the list of playlists can be filtered to display playlists with certain tags. However, I kind of want the opposite of this… I have a fair amount of playlists that are sort of “infrastructure” playlists. They’re used, but not directly. They either serve as sources for smart playlists, or smart playlists to display items on the home page. They’re not really anything that I would normally need to directly interact with from the playlist view, and would therefore like to “hide” them in order to de-clutter the list of playlists. The feature would be similar to the smart filters on other sections of the library, and allow the users to apply a filter such as “not tagged with X”
Problem solved:
Ability to clean up or de-clutter playlists that exist, but are not needed to be directly interacted with by the user.
Brought benefits:
More ability to sort playlists. This would enable something similar to dumping all these playlists into a folder (which is something you’re not planning to implement), but fits with the existing design choices.
