A few very important suggestions about such a perfect player

Feature description

1,I hope this software can increase support for multiple artist separators for songs, such as the separator “/”
2,There is also an option to add the following singers that will not be split, such as singer “Au/Ra”
3,Add an option for splitting song genres, for example, if my genre delimiter is “/”, after splitting, you can see this song in several genres
4,I hope to add the display of lyrics and lyrics translations in the app notification bar, so that Samsung phones can also display lyrics synchronously in the upper left corner. This is called “car lyrics”
5,I hope to display the lyrics of the notification bar and Meizu status bar in the app notification bar. This feature is very useful. Please refer to the documentation: https://open.flyme.cn/docs?id=239

Problem solved

These features can make local music usage and display effects extremely good. In addition, I am planning to vigorously promote your app in China to allow more people to use it. Currently, your software is not so suitable for China, but I believe that if you do these points well, many Chinese people will download and pay to use your software. Thank you very much

Brought benefits

Many Chinese music players support these features. Could you please carefully consider my suggestion and support them? Thank you very, very, very much

For points 1-3: the separators are already customizable. Just add “/” to the list if you want to use that

The lyric stuff I can’t comment on

Where is that page? I have gone through the entire app front and back and cannot find it.

Settings > Manage Media Providers > (edit your provider)

Do the settings available change depending on the Provider?

Probably. I only have local media so I don’t know what options the other providers have.

The separators would apply to anything where Symfonium’s parser scans the metadata directly.

Most server-based providers likely return the metadata directly via their API, so Symfonium probably doesn’t have any control over how to split the data in that case.

Thanks. I saw your screenshot and thought why don’t I have these options.

Makes sense. That’s probably why OP asked about it in the first place.

Yeah, Plex for example does not have those options, which is particularly frustrating because Plex completely refuses to support multiple artists. But it makes sense if Symfonium is getting that info from an API rather than directly through the files that it would be much more of a pain to try and separate those.
