The new icon colors do not respect the “Force Black overlay color” (or just act in a way that other text doesn’t).

That option only changes the background overlay color as it’s in that part 
You probably want the inverted overlay and protection color option.
That still doesn’t help, since it was already active. Changing to “Theme trrtiary container” does do the trick. Still think it should follow the “default” color that the other text follow.
The inverted overlay and protection color option just changed the focus from the Dark theme to the light theme (Inverting the colors does invert the problem xD)

The only option I am changing are: String 3 color, String 1 icon 1 color and String 1 icon 2 color
These is the theme with Tertiary Color applied (set to white over white text for both), “Inversted overlay and proteciton colors” does not change anything, since they are both white.

To be clear, I am trying to get what I already have with the tertiary container color.
Making “Force black overlay color” would change the protection switching from dark to white, even when tertiary color is applied.
All works as expected here.
The options change the automatic colors, if you force a color then it’s forced obviously.
Could you add the force black overlay color for the these parts? It wouldn’t touch the color of the icon, but at least the overlay/protection would look the same in both Light and Dark theme.
Then make a proper feature request for a global force black overlay color ?
